Three Thanksgiving Tablescapes: Candlelight, White Pumpkins, and Greenery

Every table I style starts with the same question: how do you want your guests to feel when they sit down? Here are three Thanksgiving tablescapes I designed, each with a different mood, and the details that make them work.
1. Rust and candlelight

This table is all warmth. Heirloom pumpkins and dried botanicals run down the center, taper candles in brass holders add height and glow, and rust linen napkins tied with wheat bring in harvest color. Stoneware plates and gold flatware keep it grounded and a little elegant.
2. White pumpkins and autumn leaves

For a lighter look, I used white pumpkins, cream and white flowers, and scattered autumn leaves. Gold votive candles and gold flatware add sparkle without competing with the soft palette, and a floral napkin finishes each place setting.
3. Greenery runner with dried oranges

This table bridges the seasons. A long runner of greenery and eucalyptus is dotted with mini pumpkins, pinecones, and dried oranges. Simple white plates with a small sprig of greenery keep it fresh. After Thanksgiving, swap the pumpkins for ornaments and it’s ready for Christmas.
